We are seeking a dedicated and detailed oriented Agency Relations Distribution Coordinator to lead and oversee large-scale onsite food distribution events and manage our Kid's Backpack Program. This position plays a critical role in ensuring food assistance reaches the community effectively by planning and executing onsite distribution events and ensuring compliance with the policies of the Food Bank, Feeding America, and the Texas Department of Agriculture.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Plan, implement, and coordinate large-scale onsite food distribution events.
- Manage all aspects of the Kid's Backpack Program, ensuring timely and accurate food distribution to participating children.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the Food Bank and recipient member agencies, fostering strong partnerships.
- Conduct evaluations and assessments of member agencies to ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of distributions, program effectiveness, and compliance measures.
- Provide support for agency training sessions, outreach efforts, and community engagement activities.
Qualifications:
- High school Diploma
- 3 years administrative or coordinator experience
- 3 years customer service experience
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds and work in various environmental conditions
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Advance computer skills preferred in word, excel, publisher, Microsoft Outlook
- Ability to learn new computer programs easily
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings and Saturdays
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
