Schedule: Monday-Friday with flexibility to work some weekends for special events
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for profitable growth of the craft beer and wine portfolios by assisting in the execution of brand programs and initiatives within the assigned territory.
2. Identify new prospective customers within the assigned territory by reviewing market research and information.
3. Assist the sales team with planning, development, and implementation of craft and wine portfolio strategies and marketing programs to maximize sales and distribution in key accounts.
4. Assist/conduct supplier work withs to represent CBC and develop our craft and wine brands.
5. Review market data with key accounts to provide data for potential craft and wine brands.
6. Build and analyze sales and distribution reports as needed
7. Conduct agreed upon sales works with’s in Large Format, Small Format, and On Premise each month to gain new placements, features, and displays along with coaching the teams on key craft and wine selling information.
8. Recommend product sales improvement techniques to customers through merchandising, displays, promotions, and advertising.
9. Consult with Marketing Services, Sales Departments, Chain Team, and any other departments on market requirements, brand strategies, ad feature maximization, and any other promotional opportunities.
10. Assist with planning and executing the launch of new brands within market territory.
11. Recommend or assist with evaluation of new potential products.
12. Lead education initiatives for both our craft beer and wine brand portfolio for retailers, customers, and employees.
13. Resolve escalated customer complaints regarding products or service.
14. Assist with resets as needed
15. Establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with customers, sales, chain, and suppliers.
16. Attend special events, conduct samplings at retail, and inform customers and consumers about new and existing products.
17. Comply with ABC and industry regulations, internal processes, and supplier requirements.
18. All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

2. Possess education equivalent to an Associate’s degree from a two-year college or technical school and two years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
3. Possess intermediate communication skills including the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
4. Possess the ability to write routine reports and correspondence and to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
5. Possess intermediate math skills including the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Possess the ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
6. Possess intermediate reasoning skills including the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Possess the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
7. Possess computer skills requiring knowledge of word processing software, e-mail software, spreadsheet software, order processing systems, power point, social networking sites, and Internet.
8. Possess ability to travel up to 75% of the time with some overnights required
9. Possess the ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.
10. Possess ability to obtain and maintain an active beer and wine sales license.
11. Possess ability to drive, obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license, and maintain a driving record compliant with company standards.
12. Possess the ability to maintain regular and punctual in-person attendance in the market and in the office.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; taste or smell; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
