What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infusion Insurance Analyst position at Coastal Carolina Health Care, P.A.?
CCHC New Bern Internal Medicine Specialists
Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM
· Confirm insurance coverage
· Obtain prior authorization for treatment regimen
· Schedule the patients initial set of appointments
· Follow prior authorizations closely to ensure insurance coverage does not alter during the course of treatment
· Educate patients of financial responsibility of infusion therapy
· Enroll patients in manufacture assistance programs as eligible
· Confirm collection of monies owed prior to treatment
· Review daily schedules on a weekly basis to ensure prior authorizations are in place to ensure payment of therapy
· Confirm patient appointments
· Liaison between patients and insurance companies
· Field patient billing questions
· Back up for certain assigned duties for the Infusion Center Director and coverage when out of the office
· Various administrative tasks as assigned
