Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable IT Support professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our users, ensuring that all IT systems run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of various operating systems, computer hardware, and networking principles. The IT Support specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our IT infrastructure while delivering exceptional service to end-users.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for operating systems, software applications, and hardware issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to LAN connectivity and network configurations.
- Assist users with Active Directory account management, including password resets and user provisioning.
- Maintain documentation of support requests, resolutions, and procedures using IT Glue.
- Perform routine maintenance on computer hardware and peripherals.
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements as needed.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to enhance overall service delivery.
- Knowledge in Data Wiring Preferred
- Knowledge in Office 365 Required
Skills
- Proficient in various operating systems (Windows preferred) and their functionalities.
- Strong background in technical support with a focus on customer service.
- Knowledge of LAN setups, TCP/IP protocols, and network troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with computer hardware components and troubleshooting methods.
- Understanding of Active Directory management principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
