About Us

Coastal Carolina Pool Supplies is a trusted provider of high-quality pool supplies, maintenance services, and expert guidance for residential and commercial pool owners. We are growing and looking for a motivated Store Manager to lead our retail operations and ensure an exceptional customer experience.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to oversee daily operations at our pool supplies and maintenance store. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and customer service expertise. The ideal candidate has retail experience, is proficient with POS systems, and can effectively manage inventory and product ordering. While experience in the pool industry is a plus, we are willing to train the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Store Operations & Customer Service
  • Oversee daily store operations, ensuring a clean, organized, and well-stocked environment.
  • Provide excellent customer service, assisting clients with product selection and technical questions about pool supplies.
  • Train and supervise store employees, fostering a customer-focused and efficient work environment.
  • Inventory & Product Management
  • Manage inventory levels, track stock movement, and conduct regular audits to minimize discrepancies.
  • Order products and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely restocking of key items.
  • Monitor sales trends and suggest new products to optimize offerings.
  • Sales & Point of Sale (POS) Management
  • Utilize and maintain the POS system to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Implement sales strategies to maximize revenue and encourage upselling / cross-selling opportunities.
  • Handle customer inquiries, returns, and complaints professionally.
  • Administrative & Financial Oversight
  • Manage cash handling procedures and daily sales reporting.
  • Work closely with company leadership to set and achieve sales goals.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.

Qualifications

  • Required :
  • 2 years of retail management experience.
  • Experience with POS systems and inventory management.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lead and train a team effectively.
  • Preferred :
  • Experience in the pool industry or knowledge of pool supplies.
  • Familiarity with vendor and supplier coordination.

    Available shifts and compensation : Available shifts all days except Sundays. Compensation is $15.00 - $20.00 / hour.
