What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Technician position at Coastal Chemical Co., LLC?
Your Role & Responsibilities
- Transporting equipment trailers to and from pipeline project locations.
- Rigging up NSPEC equipment to prepare for pipeline project (Hammer Union and flanged piping, hoses, etc.)
- Loading and launching pipeline pigs
- Operating and maintaining triplex pumps to inject cleaning fluids into pipeline
- Operating and maintaining large Air Compressors/dryers
- Tracking of pipeline pigs using geophones and electronic transmitter/receiver
- Receiving and removing pipeline pigs from pig receiver
- Operating separation equipment
- Pressure washing and rebuilding pipeline pigs
- Attend daily/weekly/monthly Safety Meetings
Your Profile
Education and Experience:
- Computer experience
- Basic experience writing and submitting proposals
- Customer service experience; must interact well with customers
- Advanced operator experience is required
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Must be organized, dependable, and prompt
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Ability to making critically analyze, problem solve and offer solutions.
- Perform each essential duty successfully
