What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pipeline/Oilfield Technician. ( Class A preferred) position at COASTAL CHEMICAL (Nspec Pipeline)?
This is a non-welding position. We are not building pipelines and we are not removing them.
- Commercial license would be great and pay rate would be different
This is a General labor position, Oil field or pipeline experience preferred, as well as General labor. This is a labor intensive position.
- Clean and current Drivers license required.
- Background check (7 years)
- Urine and Hair follicle Drug test.
- Pre-employment screenings must be successfully completed as part of all offers accepted; 7-year background check, as prohibited by law, urine drug, hair follicle and alcohol test”
We are a Pipeline company. We are looking for motivated candidates who can work out of town and be able to be gone for up 2 weeks on jobs. This position is mostly for West Coast and California area. Jobs typicaly start on Sunday and run for about 2 weeks, sometimes they are back to back, crew will travel in company trucks from local shop and company pays for hotel, Perdeim as well as other stuff on the projects.

Bi Weekly pay
Oilfield Knowledge and Experience Preferred
Liquid Separation Equipment.
Pipeline pigging operations, hooking up Temp piping, Operating Forklift, Reach forklift.
Knowledge of basic hand tool and some power tool.
Computer experience
Candidate must exhibit a sense of urgency, individual responsibility, and willingness to accept constantly changing priorities.
Highly motivated.
Must be able to establish and maintain good working relationships with co-workers.
Must be able to work in remote location.
Driving off road experience as well 4x4 truck and off-road vehicle at times.
Will require working out of town for consecutive days and weekends.
Subject to call out and extended workdays and/or workweeks.
Candidate must have a proven safe driving record and provide DMV Print out.
Candidate will be required to take and pass a pre-employment drug tests (Urine and Hair) and will subject to background check. Employment Physical.
Candidate shall possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be able to lift 50-75 lb
Oilfield experience is recommended.
