Job Description:
We are currently seeking flexible, reliable babysitters to work through our Coastal Child Care app. This position offers a unique opportunity to set your own schedule while providing excellent care to children. Babysitters will be expected to have at least 3 years of childcare experience, with more experience preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, attentive, and caring supervision for children in family homes
- Ensure a fun and engaging environment for children
- Follow any specific instructions or routines as provided by parents
- Maintain open and professional communication with families
Compensation:
- $20 per hour
- Flexible schedule – work when it fits your availability!
- Opportunity to build your own schedule based on the needs of the families
Locations:
- Virginia: Hampton Roads
- North Carolina: Currituck and Outer Banks (OBX).
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of childcare experience (more experience preferred)
- CPR and First Aid certified or willingness to become certified (must maintain certification)
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have at least 2 days of availability per week
- Must pass a background check and random drug testing (background check cost will be reimbursed after 10 sits)

- Loving, patient, and kind with a focus on gentle parenting.
- Own reliable transportation
- Safe Sleep Training provided by Coastal Child Care (willingness to complete if working with newborns or infants)
