Professional Cleaner

We are looking for 1-2 Professional Cleaners to add to our team to carry out general move out cleaning duties in empty apartments as well as around apartment communities (Hallways, elevators, fitness centers, etc.)

Reliability and attention to detail is an absolute must! Candidates must be willing and able to commute around the Southside area of Hampton Roads (Virginia Beach to Suffolk) and surrounding areas for jobs as-assigned.

We are growing and looking for team members to start ASAP!

Responsibilities

• Deep clean all areas of an empty apartment or townhome including, but not limited to wiping down/disinfecting all surfaces, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents and fans, bathroom cleaning, deep cleaning kitchen appliances, windows and blinds, etc.
• Perform and document routine inspection and cleaning activities with a provided checklist
• Routine (daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly) cleaning of common areas such as hallways, fitness centers, offices, clubhouses, etc.
• Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects as needed
• Notify management of deficiencies or needs for repairs
• Ability to follow a given schedule, with a degree of flexibility for unforeseen changes and additions that occur from time to time
• Follow all health and safety regulations including proper use of PPE, chemicals, and equipment

Skills

• Proven working experience as a cleaner - references are a plus!
• Ability to handle moderately heavy equipment (moving appliances out to clean under/behind them)
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
• Integrity, strong work ethic, attention to detail, and punctuality
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions/checklist
• Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team for larger cleaning projects
• Good communication and customer service skills

Requirements

• Driver's license with reliable vehicle is an absolute MUST for restocking supplies and getting to the work locations. We have clients all over the Hampton Roads area and we need teams covering all locations
• Full-time applicants must have the ability to clean 1-2 apartments per day; each clean averages about 4 hours (some take longer, some less depending on the condition of the home)
• Cell phone with internet capabilities - all scheduling and time keeping is done through an app!
• Strong time management skills
• Excellent communication skills with both clients and management
• Proficiency in cleaning techniques and/or willingness to learn through hands-on training

Note: This position may include occasional weekend or evening shifts if you have the availability and want to work - these jobs are only occasional and not required but are occasionally offered for those who want the additional hours.

A bonus program is in place for jobs that are completed per policy to reward for a job well done.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
