We are an ON-SITE Dance Company. Our classes take place at schools, recreation centers, and after school programs.

- MUST BE AVAILABLE TO TEACH IN THE MORNING AND EARLY AFTERNOON
- MUST BE PROFICIENT IN MULTIPLE STYLES OF DANCE INCLUDING BALLET, TAP, JAZZ, AND HIP HOP
- MUST BE WILLING TO TEACH IN SWFL: CAPE CORAL, NORTH FORT MYERS, FORT MYERS, ESTERO, BONITA SPRINGS, NAPLES, SANIBEL ISLAND, ETC.
DANCE INSTRUCTOR POSITION
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Dance Instructor to join our team. As a Dance Instructor, you will be responsible for traveling to various locations and teaching various dance styles and techniques to students of different ages and skill levels. Your role will involve planning and delivering engaging dance lessons, choreographing routines, and providing constructive feedback to help students improve their dancing abilities. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a strong background in dance, and the ability to inspire and motivate students.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Travel to various schools, recreation centers, and after school programs to teach dance classes.
- Design and implement dance lessons and curricula that align with the needs and skill levels of students.
- Teach and demonstrate various dance styles, techniques, and routines to individuals or groups.
- Provide clear and constructive feedback to students, highlighting areas for improvement and recognizing their achievements.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes creativity, self-expression, and teamwork.
- Develop choreography for performances, recitals, or competitions, ensuring it suits the abilities of the dancers.
- Ensure dancers are prepared for upcoming performances.
- Monitor and assess the progress of students, adjusting teaching methods as necessary to cater to different learning styles.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and other relevant documentation.
- Stay up-to-date with current dance trends, techniques, and industry developments to enhance teaching methods and knowledge.
- Collaborate with the supervisor to plan events such as showcases.
- Communicate effectively with the supervisor and location staff regarding class schedules, performances, and any other pertinent information.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students during each class and rehearsal by enforcing company policies and maintaining a clean and organized dance space.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
- Take photos of students EACH class.
- Must be willing to travel to various locations to teach classes (Cape Coral, Fort Myers, North Fort Myers, Bonita, Estero, Naples, Etc.).
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience as a Dance Instructor or similar role.
- Extensive knowledge and expertise in various dance styles, such as ballet, jazz, tap, musical theatre, lyrical, acrobatics, and hip hop.
- Ability to teach and choreograph dance routines for different age groups and skill levels.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect and communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and the ability to motivate and inspire students to reach their full potential.
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve their technique and performance.
- Reliable transportation.
- CPR Certification (preferred).
- Flexibility in working hours, to accommodate class schedules and performances.
