Coastal Detox, Inc. is a completely confidential, licensed medical detoxification facility located in the city of Stuart on Florida’s beautiful Treasure Coast. At Coastal Detox, our Mission is to help each client Sail Through Detox with safe, highly effective, medically supervised detox protocols combined with a wide variety of soothing holistic treatment therapies and compassionate client care within an exceptionally comfortable and tranquil living environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answers inquiry calls efficiently and courteously within three rings.
- Answers any questions callers may have that are of a non-clinical nature; appropriately transfers calls if clinical issues arise.
- Maintains the Inquiry Call Disposition Log and follows up accordingly.
- Appropriately completes inquiry call forms.
- Coordinates and schedules prospective client screenings.
- Coordinates and processes admissions to the facility.
- Responsible for obtaining demographic and financial information during inquiry calls.
- Forwards financial coverage information to billing unit; verifying insurance information as necessary.
- Ensures the clinical and financial screening criteria have been met prior to admission.
- Participates in all staff meetings; responsible for obtaining information if not in attendance.
- Maintains confidentiality of client information and records as required by State and Federal Privacy Laws; and of facility proprietary, privileged, and/or confidential information.
- Adheres to all Coastal Detox, Inc. Policies and Procedures.
- Conducts self in a manner that represents Coastal Detox, Inc.’s values at all times.
- Maintains a positive and respectful attitude with all work-related contacts.
- Communicates regularly with direct supervisor regarding departmental and Coastal Detox, Inc. concerns.
- Protects client confidentiality as required by State and Federal Privacy Laws.
- Participates in in-service trainings as outlined by company within designated timeframes.
- Performs other duties as assigned by direct supervisor.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- Graduation from High School or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Admissions Coordinator in the Substance Abuse industry.
- Knowledge of substance abuse field and withdrawal symptoms preferred.
- Knowledge of twelve step program preferred.
REQUIRED:
- Must be able to pass drug screen and Level II background check.
- Must have valid Florida Driver’s License.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
