Pipe Forman Job Mission
- As a Pipe/Grade Forman at Coastal Development your mission is to plan, execute monitor and complete utility projects in a timely and consistent manner with excellence.
Qualifications
- Must have prior experience as a pipe foreman installing water, sewer, storm lines and structures
- Should be able to operate equipment as it pertains to utility work
- Must be able to read and interpret civil utility plans and survey stakes
- Proven track record of leading and supervising a team
- Ability to set and maintain daily goals
Skills
- Review and study each project’s plans, scope, and existing conditions
- Create and manage weekly schedules for utility projects
- Schedule Inspections, utility location marks, material & equipment deliveries.
- Reviewing plans and scope of work with crew members to ensure complete understanding of expectations
- Complete Daily time and log records for projects
- Responsible for setting up all grade instruments
- Produce as- built drawings as pipe is being laid
- Manage materials in and out of projects to stay with-in budget
- Grow and development your crew members through morning huddles, Quarterly Reviews and feedback
- Ensure a safe job site 100% of the time by utilizing weekly toolbox talks and following company safety protocols
- Ensuring rigging, lift points, and safety shoring is installed properly
- Setting up and maintaining erosion and sediment control measures
- Manual laborer will be required when needed
