Job Title: Pipe Layer Position

Qualifications:
- The successful candidate shall have a minimum of 2-4 years of experience of setting up pipe instruments and grade elevations
- Be able to have reliable transportation to work.
- Be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Be able to assemble all pipe associated with stormwater, water, and sewer lines.
- Have a general understanding on how to read civil plans and pipe profiles.
- Be able to assist with general labor outside of laying pipe.
- Be able to use all hand tools associated with laying pipe.
- Understanding on how to assemble valves and fittings with no assistance.
- Ensuring rigging, lift points, and safety shoring is installed properly
- Meeting daily goals and following directions
- Able to take feedback from team members
- Make sure Safety protocols are being met at all times
- Identify potential safety hazards at all times
- Be aware of your surroundings at all times
Skills
- Be able to work well with others and be part of a team.
- Able to train others working alongside with them
- Understand how to perform all pressure tests and chlorination methods
- Be able to think outside of the box
- Assist in providing as-built drawings
- Perform all math to set up manholes and structures
- Be able to lead a small group of individuals
- Be able to direct pipe operator with digging signals
- Operate skid steer and front-end loader proficiently
