Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Be able to work with a team that safely installs and replaces underground utilities
- Work in an outdoor construction setting doing physically demanding work when necessary
- Be able to run and operate excavators, backhoes, front end loaders, bulldozers, and skid-steers proficiently for a long period of time to excavate or move dirt, rock, and other materials
- Must be able to dig trenches for utilities to slope and grade, perform rough and final grade, load logging trucks and debris, clearing and grubbing of construction sites, load dump trucks
- Assist in securing work site and equipment and cleaning the cab at the end of each shift
- Ensure company equipment is cleaned and cared for, material and the work site is maintained, kept clean, and stored in a safe manner
Qualifications:
- Successful candidate shall have a minimum 3-5 years of experience running stated equipment.
- Be able to have reliable transportation to work.
- Be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Experience in pipe work, retention ponds, and site development both residential and commercial sites.
- Should be able to read grade stakes, site plans, and be able to work with others in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Must be able to perform physical work; twisting, turning, lifting, bending, and lifting in excessive of 50 pounds.
