Job Summary
Coastal Ear Nose and Throat is seeking a Call Center Representatives with strong computer skills, excellent work ethic and the ability to adapt in a busy and dynamic environment.

Qualifications:
- Answers the telephone pleasantly
- Schedules patient appointments/advises to patient which documents to bring, to appt and provides a range of potential charges for the visit and the patient’s financial obligation and provides patient with scheduling options based on physicians availability.
- Ability to follows physician-approved scheduling guidelines
- Confirms guarantor and insurance eligibility at the time of scheduling.
- Instructs patients over the telephone how to complete registration on Patient Portal before they arrive for their appointment, or advises patient to arrive to appt early if they are unable to complete registration online.
- At least two years experience in a medical office, telemarketing or other customer service position
- Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook and interacting with Internet applications
- Knowledge of practice management and word processing software and EMR/EHR systems
- Ability to perform multiple and diverse tasks simultaneously
- Proven experience handling irate patients/customers and dealing with conflict
- Familiarity with scheduling and rearranging appointments
- Working knowledge of managed care
- Pleasant speaking voice and demeanor
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma is required
