Job Summary
COASTAL ECOLOGY GROUP is seeking a highly qualified Transportation Specialist to operate vacuum tankers, bulk tankers, and roll-off trailers in the Alabaster area. The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years' experience transporting hazardous and non-hazardous materials with tanker and Hazmat endorsements.
The successful candidate will be responsible for obeying traffic laws, safe operation of tractor trailers, maintaining working hours logs, correcting mechanical issues before driving, planning routes, meeting delivery schedules, complying with truck driving regulations, reporting defects, accidents, and violations, performing daily maintenance, loading and unloading cargo, interacting with customers professionally, and verifying loads for accuracy.
The preferred qualifications include strong knowledge of safety regulations, a clean driving record, physical fitness, hand-eye coordination, visual and hearing acuity. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Compensation details are available upon request.
