Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate company delivery trucks to transport millwork products, such as doors, windows, trim, and other materials, to designated locations.
Ensure accurate and timely deliveries by following established routes and schedules.
Inspect and verify the load for correctness before departure, ensuring all items match customer orders.
Assist with loading and unloading products, handling them carefully to avoid damage.
Maintain clean and organized delivery vehicles and report any maintenance needs to management.
Communicate effectively with customers and job site personnel to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.
Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Complete necessary paperwork, including delivery logs and obtaining customer signatures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Previous delivery or transportation experience is a plus.
Knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with loading and unloading.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Detail-oriented, reliable, and responsible.
Forklift experience and certification are a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds.
Ability to sit for long periods while driving and navigate in and out of the delivery vehicle.
Comfort with bending, stooping, and lifting as needed.
