Job Position : Warehouse Lead

Pay Rate : $18.00 - $22.00 / hour
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Supervision of Warehouse Staff
Oversee and guide warehouse staff in performing daily tasks, ensuring productivity and adherence to workflows.
Assign tasks to team members based on priorities and operational needs, adjusting as necessary to meet daily goals.Monitor team performance, providing on-the-spot coaching to ensure quality and efficiency in all activities.Compliance with Procedures and Safety StandardsEnsure that all team members adhere to established warehouse procedures and safety protocols.
Conduct routine checks to identify potential hazards or compliance issues and take corrective actions when necessary.Report any safety incidents or concerns to the Department Manager, supporting follow-up and resolution efforts.Point of Contact for Team IssuesServe as the main contact for team members regarding questions, issues, or needs during shifts.
Communicate operational updates, challenges, and priorities to team members effectively.Escalate complex issues to the Department Manager when additional support or intervention is required.Training and Development SupportAssist with onboarding and training new team members, ensuring they understand procedures and job expectations.
Provide continuous coaching and support to team members, helping to build skills and improve performance.Encourage a collaborative and positive work environment where team members feel supported and motivated.Documentation and ReportingMaintain accurate records of shift activities, including task completion, inventory movements, and any issues encountered.
Complete daily shift reports and update management on operational status, staff performance, and any areas for improvement.Support inventory control efforts by ensuring accurate tracking and documentation of inventory movements.Skills
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively guide and motivate a team.Excellent organizational skills, with a focus on efficiency and adherence to procedures.Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control practices, and safety protocols.Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and solve problems quickly.Physical Requirements
Ability to work in a warehouse environment, including standing, walking, and lifting / moving items up to 50 pounds.Willingness to work flexible hours and shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse setting, with prior experience in a supervisory or lead role preferred.
Education : High school diploma or equivalent required.
