Job Summary
Coastal Energy is a fuel delivery and full service mechanical company ( Plumbing, HVAC & Electrical). The Accounts Receivable position plays a critical role in overseeing the accounts receivable department, ensuring accurate and timely processing of customer payments, and maintaining healthy cash flow for the organization. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of financial and accounting concepts with the ability to communicate with our customers.
Duties
- Preform the daily operation of credit approval and customer outreach for upcoming delivery tickets for the fuel department.
- Manage the collection process for outstanding invoices, including follow-up communications with clients in both the fuel and service departments.
- Prepare and review accounts receivable reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing issues and ensure accurate account records.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions using Service Titan, Ignite and QuickBooks software programs.
- Depositing daily cash inflow in both Service Titan and Ignite Software programs.
- Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making within the organization.
Experience
- Experience in Accounts Receivable or related financial roles, preferably in corporate or public accounting settings.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts and technical accounting principles.
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as QuickBooks.
- Excellent math skills with a keen attention to detail for accurate reporting and analysis.
- Previous experience managing or supervising a team is highly desirable.

Pay: $65,500.00 - $70,000.00 per year
