Who we are seeking:
As the Lending Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for daily workflow within the lending operations team, including application of loan payments, production of loan documentation, and account maintenance.
You possess high attention to detail and accuracy.
You have experience working with commercial loan documentation and processing.
You are knowledgeable of LaserPro loan documentation management system.
You are curious, motivated, and a self-starter, and once trained, be able to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
You are proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, and the Microsoft Office Suite in general, and can use or build data to identify trends and opportunities.
You bring valuable organizational skills that allow you to manage your time, prioritize, and meet competing deadlines.
You are a great communicator and enjoy connecting with customers to help them with questions and troubleshooting.
Some of your key responsibilities in this role will be:
- Supporting the loan origination and documentation process, including drafting and finalizing commitment letters and loan documentation, and supporting the disbursement process.
- Completing post-loan closing file maintenance, including processing of all loan collateral, UCC continuations, and insurance renewals and cancellations.
- Boosting loan application and intake processes, including following up with applicants to request additional materials, running due diligence reports, and setting up internal files and records.
- Assisting with loan department governance and approval processes – including using software (including Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce) to generate materials for department meetings and taking minutes and maintaining digital records for audit and approval purposes.
- Completing account maintenance tasks such as applying incoming payments to customer accounts, producing reports, conducting daily reconciliation of loan payments, preparing pay-off statements, and assisting with invoice distribution.
- Working with customers to research and resolve questions; communicating actively with them throughout different stages of the loan cycle.
- Providing backup to other members of the Lending Operations team.

Preference for an individual with 1-3 years of commercial loan documentation and processing experience.
Experience with LaserPro and/or Salesforce
High School equivalent and at least two years of relevant experience, or associate degree with business and technical coursework that allows you to have a basic understanding of accounting transactions.
Experience performing administrative and analytical duties with sharp organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to be able to collaborate across different departments and work with a diverse group of clients.
Aptitude to adhere to a high degree of confidentiality and ethics.
Ability to work flexibly and embrace change.
Other details:
This is a full-time non-exempt position, with excellent benefits and generous time off. The posting range is $25-$27 hourly. We work in a hybrid model, two days in the office, and three days at home. This position is based at our headquarters in Brunswick, ME. The Lending team has two in-office days: Tuesday, Thursday, and three work from home days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday.
