What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driller position at Coastal Environmental Solutions, Inc?
Position: Driller is responsible for the operation of drilling equipment. Perform drilling in accordance with planned work to be done while carefully following plans and specifications. Position requires overtime to meet the needs of our customers.
Experience: 5 (or more) year of experience as a driller. Willing to train the right candidate.
Technical Requirements:
- Knowledge of equipment’s operator, parts, and technical manuals.
- Knowledge the operation of geotechnical drilling, mud rotary and/or air rotary drilling; and
- Knowledge of sonic drilling is a large plus.
Essential Functions:
- Knowledgeable and use practices consistent with company policies and procedures from applicable technical modules, all company SOP, work site, regulatory and safety policies, and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and manager.
- Ability to perform a thorough drill area inspection, workplace examination.
- Responsible for maintaining, servicing, repairing, and operating drilling equipment.
- Willing and capable to perform preventative maintenance on drill.
- Ability to manage tooling costs.
- Reliable, good time management skills.
- Willing to work overtime to meet the needs of our customers.

- Travel through NYC, New Jersey, Connecticut and Westchester.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $29.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
