Financial Counselor

Coastal Fertility Specialists is growing and has an immediate opening for a Financial Counselor who wants to make a difference in this world by helping couples with infertility start the family of their dreams. This is an incredibly rewarding career as over 95% of couples trying to conceive will do so with our help.

The role of Financial Counselor includes:

• Ensuring all insurance and eligibility information is obtained and entered into the system in an accurate manner.
• Conducting financial counseling with patients prior to fertility treatment, which includes patient financial obligations, billing practices and financing options.
• Collecting cycle deposits prior to fertility treatments
• Working closely with peers and communicates with a high level of professionalism. Possessing the skills to effectively utilize virtual counseling or other electronic modes of communication such as email, video conferencing and more.
  
  

Ideal candidates must have the ability to work effectively and sensitively with patients regarding the financial aspects of their treatment. At least two years of prior experience obtaining insurance information and communicating with individuals about sensitive matters in a medical office setting are preferred. Candidate will work between our Mt Pleasant and Daniel Island offices.
