Job Overview
In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing and processing financial records, reports, and reconciliations, while ensuring accuracy and compliance with generally accepted accounting standards (GAAS). Key Responsibilities
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual journal entries; support the monthly and annual close processes
- Compile and analyze recurring and non-recurring financial reports
- Review financial statements and reports for accuracy and completeness
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and generate required financial reporting
- Complete monthly and annual balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintain the integrity of financial records and general ledger accounts
- Provide financial and statistical analysis to internal stakeholders
- Ensure completeness and compliance of all financial documentation
- Support internal and external audits, including documentation and reporting
- Respond to financial information requests from management and auditors
- Provide backup support for various accounting functions as needed
- Ensure consistent compliance with GAAS
- Perform additional duties as assigned

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience
- Proficient in using ERP systems common in Distribution industry (e.g. NetSuite, SAP Business One, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas, and data analysis tools.
