Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher Assistant to join our educational team. As a Preschool Teacher Assistant, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children. Your role will involve planning engaging activities, promoting literacy education, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students in your care.
Duties
- Support the Preschool Teacher with the Development and implementation of an age-appropriate lesson plan that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages creativity, curiosity, and respect among students.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively while maintaining a safe and supportive atmosphere for all children.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise.
- Provide individualized attention to students to support their unique learning needs and developmental milestones.
- Incorporate literacy education into daily activities to enhance language skills among preschoolers.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress reports, and other necessary documentation.
Qualifications
- CDA/TCC, required or must be enrolled in a program that leads to credentialing.
- Previous experience in daycare or Preschool settings is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Proven classroom management skills to maintain an organized and productive learning environment.
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices in education.
- A passion for teaching young children and fostering their growth in a supportive environment.

Pay: $15.32 - $16.94 per hour
