Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing safe and reliable transportation for students or passengers. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a bus vehicle according to established routes and schedules.
- Educate passengers on safety procedures and proper behavior during transit.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding transportation needs and schedules.
- Manage passenger behavior to ensure a safe and respectful environment.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of routes, passenger counts, and incidents as required.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for bus driving.
- Previous experience in school bus driving or commercial driving is preferred.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to maintain order on the bus.
- Ability to drive safely in various weather conditions while adhering to all traffic laws.
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service at all times.
