Job title: Sample Driver
Reports to: Operations Manager
Level: Individual Contributor
Classification: Non-exempt
Status: Regular Full Time
Job Purpose
The Driver will provide support for the lab and field inspectors by transporting chemical samples to and from the lab, client terminals, or plant facilities.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Drive to destinations in a timely manner.
• Maintain sample log and input data in tracking system.
• Maintain a driving log and the required paperwork for sample transportation.
• Report back to supervisor when samples have been transported to desired destination.
• Responsible for the communicating as needed the maintenance of company vehicle (oil changes, tire rotation etc.).
• Report any incidents or accidents as they arise.
• Willing to work a flexible on call schedule.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• All other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
• Must have internal and external customer service skills.
• Must be at least 25 years of age.
• Candidate must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Have a great work history with a track record of being responsible individual.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• TWIC card required.
Other Duties
• Management reserves the right to change job duties with or without notice.
Working conditions
This position is performed inside and outside weather conditions including extreme heat and cold.

• Lifting requirement- ability to lift up to 50 lds.

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
• Be able to work in the presence of odors typical of petroleum or petrochemicals without allergic reactions or nausea, when such odors are within OSHA-designated permissible exposure limits (PELs).
• May be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
