Coastal Harbor Health System is comprised of a 145-bed hospital for children and adolescents, providing both short- and long-term inpatient care, and a 50-bed inpatient hospital serving men and women, ages 18 and up. The Residential Program Director assumes responsibility for the functions of the Residential program, maintaining the quality of social services provided as well as contributing to the development of programs for specialized patient populations for inpatient and continuum care.

Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Provide supervision for employees in the department; interview, hire, and train employees; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems
- Assume around-the-clock responsibility for the delivery of care by Shift Supervisors and direct care staff; perform daily rounds to ensure staff members are in compliance with organizational policies and procedures and in compliance with all regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate with clinical departments to develop individualized care plans; ensure front line staff are educated on new directives to ensure that follow-thru takes place on each unit

Requirements
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in social services field preferred
- 3 years’ experience in managing residential and/or acute milieu
- Valid State Driver’s License
