Key Responsibilities:
- Appointment Scheduling & Coordination: Ensure efficient scheduling of patient appointments in-person or by phone, optimizing provider time and treatment room utilization.
- Patient Interaction: Greet and assist patients with check-out, ensuring a smooth experience and addressing their concerns. Comfort patients by answering questions and alleviating any anxieties.
- Maintain Records & Accounts: Update and maintain patient accounts, including personal and financial information. Ensure that patient records are filed and easily retrievable.
- Billing & Payments: Record and collect payments, manage patient balances, and oversee credit extended to patients, ensuring accurate financial records are maintained.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain business office inventory, anticipate supply needs, place orders, and verify receipt of supplies.
- Emergency Response: Assist in emergency situations, providing support to patients in distress.
- Confidentiality & Compliance: Ensure the confidentiality of patient information in accordance with privacy regulations. Follow all office policies and procedures to maintain smooth operations.
- Team Collaboration: Contribute to team goals and work closely with other team members to ensure the efficient flow of office tasks.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting patients and visitors, either in person or on the phone, and directing inquiries appropriately.
