- Scheduling: Optimize patient satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by phone.
- Appointment Management: Ensure patients' appointments stay on track by notifying providers of patient arrivals, reviewing service delivery against the schedule, and reminding providers of service delays.
- Patient Comfort: Ease patient anxiety by answering questions and maintaining the reception area.
- Record Management: Ensure the availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
- Patient Accounts: Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
- Revenue Collection: Record and update financial information, collect patient balances, control credit extended, and manage filings and collections.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage business office inventory, anticipate supply needs, place and expedite orders, and verify the receipt of supplies.
- Emergency Response: Assist patients in distress by responding to emergencies.
- Confidentiality: Protect patient rights by maintaining the confidentiality of personal and financial information.
- Operational Procedures: Maintain smooth operations by following policies and procedures and reporting necessary changes.
- Team Contribution: Contribute to team efforts by achieving related results as needed.
- Greeting Patients: Welcome patients and visitors by greeting them in person or over the phone and referring inquiries.
- Education: High School Diploma.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in the medical field.
