Key Responsibilities
- Orientation and Education:
- Meet with patients to get them scheduled as a new patient. Scheduling them in an appropriate time frame.
- Recognize and maintain patient rights, including confidentiality.
- Quality Service Maintenance:
- Help maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organizational standards.
- Patient Care Database Maintenance:
- Enter new patient information as it becomes available, verify findings and reports, and back up data. Verify insurance and make sure we have all document to be able to see patient as a new patient.
- Professional Development:
- Stay updated on professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, and networking within professional societies.
- Team Contribution:
- Contribute to the team’s success by achieving related results as required.
- High School Diploma
- At least 1 year of experience in the medical field
- Experience with Referrals and Insurance
- Experience with Athena
- Skills in multitasking, flexibility, telephone communication, customer service, time management, organization, attention to detail, scheduling, word processing, professionalism, quality focus, and teamwork
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
