Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be professional, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced clinical environment. Blood draw and injection experience is required.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for examination, taking vital signs, and documenting medical histories.
- Assist with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Perform routine laboratory tests and prepare specimens for testing.
- Administer medications.
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient flow.
- Assist with patient education and provide instructions for treatment plans.
- Manage patient records, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring equipment is sanitized and stocked.
- Provide administrative support such as answering phones, processing insurance information, and handling medical records.
- Perform other clinical and administrative tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Medical Assistant.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and office protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with basic computer software and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
