Job Description
As an Occupational Therapist, you will conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical, cognitive, and functional abilities, including assessing activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs). You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance patients' functional independence and quality of life.
You will provide hands-on therapy, one patient at a time, including therapeutic interventions, adaptive techniques, and training in the use of assistive devices for improved functional outcomes. You will educate patients and their families on strategies for safe movement, injury prevention, and maximizing independence in daily activities.
You will document patient progress and communicate with referring healthcare professionals. You will collaborate with the rehabilitation team to ensure coordinated and effective care.
Required Skills and Qualifications
