JOB TITLE : Adult OTP / Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
SUPERVISED BY : Psychiatric Practice Manager / Supervising Psychiatrist / Medical Director
REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL / EXPERIENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS :
- Licensed by the state of North Carolina as either a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Practitioner with previous substance use treatment experience.
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES :
Provides behavioral health and substance use treatment to patients within the Coastal Horizons Center clinic, under the direction of a supervising psychiatrist and medical director. Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner provides diagnosis, treatment, medication management, consultation, and follow up behavioral health and substance use care to agency patients. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides age and specialty appropriate care at the level of training achieved.
