Outpatient Therapist (Whiteville, NC)
Coastal Horizons Center, Inc. has an opportunity for an Outpatient Therapist to join our Flourishing Families Program. Our Flourishing Families program is located in Whiteville, NC and provides specialized services to parenting women with substance use disorders and her identified supports. This program consists of a supervisor, peer support specialist, case manager, office manager, psychiatric provider, and community liaison to support the needs of women with a substance use disorder.
Required Educational / Experiential Qualifications :
- Graduation from a four-year college or university in human services or related field and two years of progressive substance use counseling experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Graduation from a Master’s degree program in clinical psychology, counseling, or social work
- NCSAPPB Licensure as a LCAS / LCASA; or LPA, or LCMHC / LCMHCA, LCSWA / LCSW
Additional Skills : Knowledge of recovery, harm reduction, and medication assisted treatment.
