Coastal Horizons Center, Inc. is seeking a qualified Area Coordinator for our TASC Care Managers in the following counties: Caswell, Person, Granville, Vance, Warren, Franklin, Alamance, Orange, Durham, and Chatham Counties.
This position is supported by our regional offices in Cumberland and Craven Counties, NC., and is an office-based position in Durham County.
The Area Coordinator will perform supervisory and administrative work in directing programmatic activities for Treatment Accountability for Safer Communities (TASC). The Area Coordinator is primarily responsible for supervising TASC Staff on non-clinical issues throughout the region. The Area Coordinator will also be the primary contact with staff and community partners on day-to-day operations. The Area Coordinator will participate in the Regional Leadership Team in conjunction with the Clinical Coordinator, Assistant Regional Director, and Regional Director.
REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree (2 years) preferred or bachelor’s degree (4 years) in social work, human services, or related field
At Master’s level – minimum of 1 year providing director counseling and/or supervisory services in the area of criminal justice/substance abuse services.
- Bachelor’s level – minimum of 2 years experience providing direct counseling services in the area of criminal justice/substance abuse services.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Certification from the North Carolina Substance Abuse Professional Certification Board (minimally registered with the Board)
Salary: $46,000- $49,000, Commensurate with experience, medical/dental insurance, life insurance, LTD disability insurance, retirement savings plan/401K, paid time off programs.
