JOB TITLE : THERAPIST - SUBSTANCE USE & MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES
SUPERVISED BY : Program Director
REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL / EXPERIENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS :
- Graduation from a four-year college or university in human services or related field and two years of progressive substance use counseling experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Graduation from a Master's degree program in clinical psychology, counseling, or social work
- LCSW preferred, or NCSAPPB Licensure as a LCAS / LCASA; or LPA, or LCMHC / LCMHCA, LCSWA
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES :
Provides independent diagnostic, psycho-social and professional counseling for clients (adults) with complicated substance use, mental health and co-occurring disorders- with an appropriate level of supervision.
