JOB TITLE: WHAT Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
Provides behavioral health and substance use treatment to patients within the Coastal Horizons Center clinic, under the direction of a supervising psychiatrist. Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant provides diagnosis, treatment, medication management, consultation, and follow up behavioral health and substance use care to agency patients. The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant provides age and specialty appropriate care at the level of training achieved.
REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Licensed by the state of North Carolina as either a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant
