As an RN at our Macky & Pam Stansell House Inpatient Facility in Ocean Pines working 8p-8a, you will:

Responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating a plan of patient care utilizing ANA (American Nurses Association) Standards and the Nursing Process

Utilize equipment and technology skillfully and is technically competent in nursing procedures

Oversee and/or participates in safe medication handling and practices

Educate patients and families on significant self-care and end of life issues, all hospice services, patient liability for payment and ensures consent and payer forms are completed

Act as a patient advocate. Provides support, information and direct care

Oversee and delegates assignments of CMTs, LPNs, Hospice Aides, students and volunteers on shift

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

• Licensed and currently registered to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland, Delaware or other compact state
• BSN from an accredited college preferred
• CHPN certification expected within two (2) years of employment
