What You Will Bring To This Role:
The SpringHill Suites Virginia Beach Oceanfront has a position available for a Seasonal Server. The responsibility of the Server is to provide guests with prompt and accurate service while providing unmatched service to all guests in every interaction. We are seeking a candidate who is friendly, proactive, guest service focused, and is knowledgeable about the local area.

Some of Your Responsibilities Would Be:
- Efficiently and accurately takes and delivers order while interacting with guests, and possessing excellent interpersonal service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor, manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Learn menu items and be able to describe them appropriately to guests, check-in with guests to ensure that they have everything they need, and clean dirty dishes from the table.
- Knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits; familiarity with domestic and import beers, different types of wine, and brand name spirits.
- Maintains assigned areas by keeping them clean and free of debris, and track guests while they move around the pool area.
- Ability to work with other servers and be a team player.
- Demonstrates superior guest service skills by presenting a friendly, relaxed, and professional demeanor; ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail while meeting business demands.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 18 years of age, proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
- Ability to communicate effectively in a positive, upbeat fashion; with interpersonal skills with focused attention to guests needs.
- Ability to check transactions accurately and efficiently; basic math skills a must.
- Ability to withstand prolonged standing
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
- Candidate must be available to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Required Characteristics:
- Highly developed computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and with diverse groups of individuals.
- Adhere to all alcohol service regulations and policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Ensure that guests are satisfied with their orders and address any concerns or complaints
