Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Revenue Cycle Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing the complete revenue cycle process—ensuring timely and accurate billing, effective collections, and compliance with healthcare regulations.

The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to optimize revenue flow and enhance the patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the revenue cycle, from billing to final payment.
• Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility both pre- and post-service.
• Prepare and submit accurate insurance claims in a timely manner.
• Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve discrepancies or denials promptly
• Work closely with providers to ensure accurate coding and proper documentation.
• Maintain detailed and organized records of billing activities and communications.
• Respond to patient inquiries and provide excellent support related to billing and payment concerns
• Travel to practice locations (e.g., Spring Hill, Palm Harbor, Trinity, Tampa) as needed for training and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in dental billing, AR follow-up, and payment posting.
• Experience with WinOMS is required.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology and billing software
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.  Commitment to providing a high level of customer service.
