What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scheduling Department Clerk position at Coastal Mental Health Center?
Scheduling department clerks serve as a link between the company and the clients they serve by providing support over the phone to existing patients for all 8 locations. Working with a great team/family environment. In need of someone that speaks Spanish fluently Primary duties listed below:
- Perform intake for new patients
- Handle all calls initially for each of the 9 locations or transfer to appropriate location if unable to resolve.
- Handle calls professionally
- Ability to understand scheduling system, insurances, and working in a computer.
- Handle multiple calls, angry patients, and be able to follow through until the patients issues have been resolved.
- Proper telephone etiquette
- Be apart of a team
- other duties as given to by other departments are possible
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
