What You’ll Do
Design & Space Planning:
- Develop space plans, renderings, and design concepts to present to clients.
- Prepare color and finish selections, digital presentations, and furniture specifications.
- Ensure plans align with ADA regulations, building codes, and workplace ergonomics.
- Create detailed installation drawings and verify accuracy against architectural plans.
Furniture & Specification Expertise:
- Specify contract furniture solutions that meet client needs and budget.
- Use Giza and or CETto create technical drawings.
- Double-check specifications and ensure accuracy before order entry.
Project Coordination & Execution:
- Coordinate with clients, internal teams, installation teams, and sales teams to develop and execute innovative design concepts while ensuring alignment with client objectives to understand workplace needs.
- Conduct site visits, punch list reviews, and work alongside the installation team as necessary for projects
- Manage all aspects of assigned projects from conception to completion, including timelines, budgets, project documentation, and resource allocation
- Monitor project progress, maintain compliance with specifications, uphold quality standards, and identify potential issues early, implementing effective solutions to keep projects on track
- Prepare and present detailed project reports, maintaining accurate records throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field preferred
- Minimum 1 year of project management experience
- Interior design portfolio demonstrating relevant experience preferred
- Professional Qualifications:
- Functional knowledge of 2D/3D production software (Giza, CET, etc.)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, InDesign, Photoshop (Preferred)
Essential Skills and Abilities
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
- Strong understanding of furniture processes and materials
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Management Skills:
- Exceptional time management and organizational abilities
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Communication:
- Excellence in written and verbal communication
- Ability to present design concepts effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills for client and team interactions

- 1 week paid time off after 90 days. 2nd week paid time off given after 1st year of employment
