RESIDENTIAL SUPERVISOR
Coastal Opportunities, a non-profit agency serving adults with Intellectual Disabilities in the Knox County area for over 50 years, currently has a leadership opportunity for a for Residential Supervisor at one of our group homes in the Rockland area. This position requires compassion, patience, excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. It includes some direct care with residents as well as completing supervisory duties.
Direct Care Responsibilities: Assists residents with personal care as needed, increase participation in their household by building home care skills, improve communication and assists them to manage their health and wellness including administering medication. Staff implements and documents care plans. Staff strive to engage residents in activities so that they can interact with, and be involved in, their community.
Supervisory Duties: Ensures staff coverage to maintain a safe & comfortable home, oversight of residents’ medical and personal needs, oversight of care plans, approval of staff documentation and supervision of staff.
The supervisor works closely with the home’s staff and administrative staff to collaborate and maintain smooth operation of the home.
Qualifications: One year of experience supporting clients in a group home setting preferred. A valid Maine driver’s license, your own vehicle and proof of insurance required.
Required training is provided

40 hours per week. Flexibility required.
Pay rate: $21.00 /hour commensurate with experience.
