What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Front Desk position at Coastal Podiatry Associates?
We are currently seeking a Medical Front Desk Receptionist for our busy multi-physician offices. We have 5 locations ( Myrtle Beach , International Dr., Little River, Conway, Surfside) . All candidates must be able to work in any of our offices. We request that all candidates have reliable transportation .
The ideal candidate will be a reliable, friendly, and responsible team player with great customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule appointments and provide information to patients
- Verify patient insurance coverage and collect necessary co-pays or payments
- Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation of medical information
- Assist with medical office tasks such as filing, faxing, and organizing paperwork
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy and confidentiality
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth operations of the front desk
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is a plus but not required
- Proficient computer skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
