Job Description:
Coastal Process is looking to add a Project Coordinator to oversee all aspects of projects, meet deadlines, and monitor and summarize progress. The successful candidate will work directly with customers/vendors to ensure deliveries fall within the scope and on-time.
Who we are:
Coastal Process provides engineered solutions for water, wastewater, and process-air applications to both municipal and industrial customers in Louisiana and Mississippi. We also provide support through aftermarket services; including repairs, upgrades, rentals, preventative maintenance contracts, exchanges, etc. to our valued customers.
Responsibilities:
· Meet with team members to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
· Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
· Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
· Direct project correspondences by preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes and emails
· Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
· Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly with great attention to detail
· Understand contract requirements and standard drawings
· Ensure that all projects are delivered within scope and on-time
· Communicate directly with team members/customers/vendors on project status
· Report and escalate to management as needed
· Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· Solid organizational and multi-tasking skills
· Documentation management and ability to use project management tools
· Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
· AutoCad experience- preferred, but not required
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat
· Positive attitude and self-motivating
Schedule:
Monday to Friday ( 8am to 5 pm)
Supplemental pay types:
- Bonus pay with exceptional performance
