Coastal Quality Construction, Inc., a nationally recognized General Contractor/Design-Builder, is recruiting for a Project Manager/ Estimator for our Parma, Ohio offices. A Project Manager/Estimator for CQC shall manage projects from pre-construction through completion
Project Management Responsibilities will include the following.
- Process RFI’s including routing/logging in Foundation Software.
- Process Submittals including review for project requirements, logging, submission to architect, etc..
- Support the Field Operations by ordering materials and ensuring delivery.
- Process and price change orders.
- Overall financial manager for the projects.
- Establish, monitor, and update project schedules.
- Contract processing and procurement.
- Provide timely and cordial interaction with supporting work groups, such as accounting, HR, etc.
- Manage activities that are related to project closeout to ensure timely completion
- Estimating Responsibilities will include the following:
Prepare detailed cost estimates through takeoff, subcontractor input and historical cost data.
Required Skills and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar program. Preferred a minimum (5) years of Construction Estimator experience with a General Contractor, Construction Manager or Design Build firm. Ability to read and understand Construction and Bidding Documents. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience in On-Screen Takeoff is preferred. Excellent organizational and Time management Skills.
