A local Small Industrial Distributor looking for an Inside Sales Support member that will assist with: Accounting -Customer Service-Quotes- Order Processing and Application Support. Hours: 8:00 am-5:00 pm M-F
Paid Vacation: 1 year =1 week, 2-4 years= 2 weeks, 5-9 years=3 weeks, 10 years earn=4 weeks
Sick days: 5 days.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Customer Service:
Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a professional, friendly, timely and courteous manner. Forward messages and follow up with requests as required.
Types of requests: Request for Quotes, Order Status, Shipment Tracking, Request for Product information (Part Lists, Manuals, Materials of Construction)
Order Tracking. Scheduling delivery/pickups. Order Office supplies. Keep office/premise clean.
Accounting Assistant:
Process Orders, Create Sales Orders, Enter Payments, Review Customer Terms, Enter Payable. Reviewing inventory levels and keeps inventory controls. Overseeing Shipping and Receiving.
Inside Sales/Quote Specialist:
Prepare quotes in a professional, detail oriented and timely manner using manufacture web portals/software/price books to retrieve pricing and presenting in an excel template. An inside sales person should be able to complete 10 quotes a day after 6 months of training. Turnaround time for quotes is within 4 hours. Warehouse: Assist in Receiving, Shipping, Delivery, Cleaning as needed.

Industrial process and equipment knowledge: A person in this position is expected to: Learn all product lines: With training provided in house along with referencing Manufacture Websites, Brochure Literature and Equipment manuals. There will be opportunities to attend manufacture pump schools as available. Have the ability to gain a solid understanding of the capabilities and limitations of all products all along with ability to understand the pricing structure.
Have a strong understanding of chemical resistance and be able to recommend compatible materials for chemical using Chemical guides long with understanding of services of conditions and being able to select and curve a pump appropriately with Motor and Controls options using software.
An Application Support person can help make recommendations for equipment and support the outside sales team.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Computer skills required:
- Microsoft Word-Be able to create a word document using letterhead template and type a professional letter for inter-company use and outside communication.
- Microsoft Outlook-Be able to manage calendar, contact list and incoming/outgoing emails
- Microsoft Excel-Create basic excel, print, format and enter templates
- Microsoft Explorer-Ability to navigate and understand folder organization, be able to save and update files appropriately.
- Adobe Read/Write- Ability to edit PDF files and create PDF Files as needed
- Pump Curve Software- Ability to learn proprietary pump selection software and quoting software.
- Internet Search, ability to navigate supplier websites and log ins, ability to research bid specs and information as needed.
- Quick Books
Be very Detail oriented and strong customer service and verbal/written communication skills.
Be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with sales representative, suppliers and owners verbally and written.
General office equipment such as: Phone, Fax, Copier, Scanner, Alarm,
Ability to drive a Fork Lift/Valid Driver’s License and Auto Insurance at all times
Must Be able to Lift or Move items up to 80lbs
