Indoor Sales (Cold Calling)--- Batavia area --- URGENTLY HIRING

Mon--Fri A shift $20/hour

Hourly wage: $20 to start. Increases will be based on performance and ability to learn about the products offered.

Essential Functions:

1. Receive and respond to requests from customers by phone or email requesting quotations orders and lead times.

2. Prepare quotations on standard and non-standard items, enter order and relay pertinent order information to customers.

3. Confirm all verbal quotes in writing for traceability and accuracy.

4. Upon order entry, accurately process customer transactions.

5. Communicate to the customer the technical aspects of the product.

6. Educate the customer on terminology, features, and benefits of different products to improve sales and customer satisfaction.

7. Coordinate with other departments in handling of the purchase orders such as scheduling, shipping, and billing.

8. Secure credit references for new customers, set up accounts on the CRM and get deposits.

9. Maintain/Input files of active orders, post change of orders, record schedule changes and credit changes.

10. Work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing on pricing of special requirements, and after order entry, to ensure a smooth transition of the customer’s order

11. Monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications:

1. Preferably 3-5 years of sales background.

2. Knowledge of computers and relevant computer programs (Excel, Word, CRM)
