We are looking for an experienced full-time experienced Home Builder Loan Servicing Specialist. This position works Mondays through Fridays in a professional branch setting at our Savannah, GA branch. This is not a remote position. Out of town applications will not be considered. Hourly rate is commensurate with experience.

The Home Builder Loan Servicing Specialist is responsible for supporting CSB’s Home Builder Finance Group. This position will perform a variety of loan administration and servicing functions.
Essential Functions:
- Performs pre-closing, closing and post-closing process on real estate loans, commercial loans, lines of credit and letters of credit.
- Coordinates with lenders and loan team to assist with to coordination of closings, ensuring all conditions and requirement are met and that documents are correct and received on a timely basis for closing.
- Reviews loan approval and loan documents prepared either internally or externally to ensure consistency and adherence to requirements.
- Performs document custody duties (such as recorded mortgages and final title policies).
- Performs construction loan functions to include documentation review, draw requests, track insurance, quote payoffs, system maintenance, and permanent financing phase requirements.
- Acquires and maintains knowledge of the bank’s construction management software where all aspects of the construction process are performed.
- Ability to establish draw schedules and budget tracking in the bank’s construction management software based on the requirements of the loan approval, loan documents and construction contract (if applicable).
- Careful review of draw requests to identify possible budget problems and elevate to management with recommendations for resolution.
- Provides exceptional client service to both external and internal clients. Works closely with loan officers, borrowers, attorneys, construction consultants, appraisers, inspectors, and insurance and title companies.
- Acquires and maintains knowledge of applicable banking regulations.
- Ensure procedures are accurately documented in compliance with departmental policy, practices, and regulations.
- Perform account research for loan clients and answer general deposit service questions for clients.
- Complete all mandatory training sessions as required by management.
- Comply with bank procedures and follow regulatory, operational and security guidelines.
- Contribute to the bank team effort by working on special projects and reports, performing other job-related duties, at the discretion of the Commercial Lender or Savannah Market Executive.

Qualifications
Preferred Education/Experience/Software:
Associate's degree in related field or 3-5 years of experience within the business, accounting or financial services industry is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the bank loan operations, and in a regulatory environment including loan production, operations and credit administration is preferred. Expert user of Microsoft Office Excel and Word is required.
Training:
Responsible for the timely completion of all required compliance training such has BSA, Information Security, and other job specific training as assigned.
BSA Compliance:
Complies as required with relevant Bank policies and procedures related to BSA, including capture of required CIP, Customer Due Diligence, and Beneficial Ownership data as well as informing management and compliance staff of potential suspicious activities or elevated risk related to specific clients.
Additional Requirements:
The responsibility to acquire and maintain the required knowledge of State and Federal Banking regulations and policies.
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
Professional office environment. While performing the duties of this position, the team member is regularly required to operate standard office equipment. The team member is frequently required to communicate and perceive. The position is primarily stationary and not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions and requires sedentary work such as exerting up to 10 pounds of force 5% of the time and a negligible amount of force approximately 95% of the time.
