We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. Duties
- Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
- Handle phone inquiries and provide information regarding services, procedures, and pet care.
- Process patient records and maintain accurate medical files, including medical collection tasks.
- Assist veterinarians with patient intake and discharge procedures.
- Manage billing processes and ensure accurate transactions for services rendered.
- Provide basic animal care, including dog handling and kennel management as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room.
- Support veterinary staff with laboratory tasks when required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately, demonstrating proper animal handling techniques.
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques is advantageous.
- Knowledge of pet grooming practices is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing records and appointments.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
